A Robert Murdock died 4 June 1770 age 88 and is buried with John Murdock, son of Roberts (John2") Murdock in the Smithfield Burying Ground in town of Amenia, DC. We think it probable that it is this man and the gravestone has been misread (continued in next snippet)...
